Fabric Recycling Now Available at Moss, Inc.

The squeky wheel gets the oil....and Moss is now taking back their polyester printed products for recycling!  If you can remove the extra hardware on your fabric and get it back to their warehouse in Elk Grove Village , then you can keep it out of a landfill.

Here is a picture of their new baler, insn't it pretty?  Moss's old printed products that get collected for recycling cannot be melted and turned into new print quality fabric, that is impossible as of January 27, 2012.  Anyone else who tells you otherwise is not being completely honest with you.  What does happen is that the collected printed polyester products are shredded and used to make  agregate, horse bedding, insulation.....and hot dogs.

I hope you find some inspiration in these findings. Pass this PDF along to your team members as you see fit.

Autodesk Photofly

Some Czarnowski designers have been using Autodesk's new application , Photofly, to make 3D models and image maps from photographs taken of objects.  A beautiful Timex watch was the object chosen, and here are the results.  The image maps are very impressive, as is the amount of triangular faces created, but the program seems to have a little ways to go to in order to easily create accurate models...but it is very very close!  Get it while its still free here--->   http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/photo_scene_editor/

Mobile Charging Stations and Airline Check In Kiosks

Want to keep your attendees inside your booth for an extra 10 minutes?  You should put a mobile charging station or an airline check in kiosk in your booth.  This is a no brainer; every single person on the show floor can use either of these valuable services.
